Pipe Repairs

We specialise in pipe repairs for ANY vehicle. In many cases we hold stock of air conditioning pipes that we frequently use and replace on vehicles that are known for failing.
However for some pipes, they are not so easy to obtain from aftermarket suppliers and pipe repairs maybe required. This is especially the case for older model cars where they have been superseded by newer models. Stockists don’t hold stock forever!
In such cases where a replacement is not easily available, we have the ability to produce and make our own pipes to the exact replica of the failed A/C pipe.
Either metal pipes that need to be made exactly to suit the vehicle, or flexible hose type pipes, we can and often do make our own.
In many cases, our own bespoke pipes are often better that the original that was fitted because we can shape the pipe to prevent the point of failure from ever happening again.
Having the expertise, ability and facility to make our own air conditioning pipes gives us the advantage to provide a better pipe product than perhaps was originally fitted. In addition a shorter turn around time and not delayed whilst waiting for a parts delivery.
We are the complete air conditioning specialists, and that includes the pipes and hoses that connect the components all together. We are cost effective for repairing air conditioning systems, in all cases we are more proficient at getting the fault fixed, no matter where or what the problem is.
Vehicle air conditioning systems comprise of several major component parts, and they are all connected by flexible and metal pipes.
In very simple terms, refrigerant gas is compressed to be very cold and pumped around a series of different pipes from usually the front of the vehicle to a distribution control box behind the dashboard. In turn that feeds the air vents where you should feel cold air from when the A/C is switched to the cold setting.
In the case of the system having a leak, the refrigerant gas escapes, nothing gets cold and the air conditioning stops working.
As air conditioning specialists, AVACS are experts in diagnosing faults with the components but just as importantly, tracing leaks in the pipe system that connects it all up.

Yes we can. We understand the systems and how they are installed in each vehicle brand.
Each vehicle manufacturer have their methods of feeding the air conditioning pipes through the vehicle and around the engine bay to reach each component.
Natural deterioration or corrosion of air conditioning pipes is quite common and after being identified which one, it needs replacing.
Over time, clips that hold these pipes in place break. Therefore allowing the pipe to rub against bodywork etc, and eventually piercing the pipe.
If the vehicle has had body repairs following a collision. It is not un-common for a weakened air conditioning pipe to have been missed in the repair only for it to fail months later.
The point is that the air conditioning pipework within the system needs replacing from time to time and AVACS are specialists at finding these faults.
